This is the weighted sum of individual interest rates, as at the end of the reporting period, for new debt securities issued during the reporting period, where the weights used are the corresponding balances expressed as a share of the total balance. The interest rate is the contractual rate to be paid to or received by the customer/counterparty/debtholder.
